The Progressive Socialist Party’s Information Commission issued the following statement: The Secretary of the Democratic Gathering, MP Hadi Abu Al-Hassan, while carrying out a social duty in the town of Qubay, was attacked with a military weapon. However, he succeeded in controlling the aggressor and neutralizing him before implementing his plan, so he could complete his social duty, before leaving the place quietly after things returned to normal. Accordingly, Al-Taqadudi places this fabricated attempt at murder in the custody of the judiciary and the security services, in order to find out the true backgrounds behind it. Al-Taqadudi calls on the security services to deal firmly with any security breach that threatens civil peace, stressing the need for calm and deliberation and waiting for official investigations.
