The Prime Minister issued the following memorandum: Closing official administrations, public institutions, municipalities and their unions on “Resistance and Liberation Day” In solidarity with the families of the martyrs, the wounded, the prisoners, the displaced, and our people in the south and the front villages, and in support of their steadfastness, Monday, May 25, 2026, will be declared an official holiday, and all public administrations and institutions, municipalities and their unions, schools and universities will be closed.
