The Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation, Judge Ahmed Rami Al-Hajj, issued a decision ruling that no prosecution be conducted against the LBCI channel and the two invitees, Peter Joe Daher and Hassan Al-Khatib, and that the papers regarding what was brought against them be preserved due to the lack of elements of any criminal act, and that the previously given signal to prevent the publication or circulation of the aforementioned video be withdrawn. It also ruled that the necessary legal measures be taken against Mr. Ali Muhammad Barakat and Alaa Muhammad Abu Jabal for insulting Patriarch Al-Rahi with the cartoon.
