The Beirut Port Administration and Investment informs “citizens and residents of the surrounding areas that a trial of the port’s siren system will be conducted on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at five o’clock in the evening.”
This step falls within the framework of technical tests and readiness procedures, with the aim of ensuring the effectiveness of the system and its operational readiness.
The administration confirms that this process is merely a technical test, and does not require any concern during its implementation.
