Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot announced the summoning of Israel's ambassador after National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir broadcast "deeply disturbing" pictures of "Resilience Flotilla" activists to break the siege on Gaza while they were kneeling and tied up after their ships were intercepted.
“There are Belgian citizens among the detainees, and this situation is unacceptable,” Prevot said on the “X” platform, stressing that “the humanitarian situation in Gaza remains catastrophic and requires the full attention of the international community.”
