Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed on Sunday that he agreed with US President Donald Trump that any final agreement between Washington and Tehran must include the "nuclear threat" that Iran represents to Israel.
Netanyahu said in a statement issued the day after his call with the US President: “President Trump and I agreed that any final agreement with Iran must completely eliminate the nuclear threat. This means dismantling Iran’s uranium enrichment facilities and removing enriched nuclear materials from its territory.”
Netanyahu announced that the US President granted Israel the “right to self-defense” on all fronts where it is fighting, including Lebanon.
The statement said: “President Trump also affirmed Israel’s right to self-defense against threats on all fronts, including Lebanon.”
