The UN Security Council condemned the attack that targeted the Barakah nuclear plant in the United Arab Emirates, considering it a violation of international law.
The Security Council called for an immediate and permanent cessation of all attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure in the UAE, including threats targeting peaceful nuclear facilities.
The statement stressed the need for countries to adhere to the highest standards of nuclear safety and security, and to refrain from any actions that may threaten regional and international nuclear security.
