The Information and Public Relations Department of the General Directorate of Civil Defense issued the following statement: “The search and rescue teams of the General Directorate of Civil Defense, despite the seriousness of the raids and the great damage they caused, were able to evacuate and rescue 29 citizens who were trapped inside the damaged buildings in both Al-Duwair and Nabatieh. The operations in Al-Duwair resulted in the rescue of two children and 12 citizens, while in Nabatieh 15 citizens were evacuated, as the elements worked quickly and sufficiently to secure the safety of civilians and transport them to safe places. Civil Defense teams are still continuing to carry out search and field response operations in Target sites.
