After targeting Beaufort Castle and Tyre... urgent action from UNESCO

Information reported that an emergency meeting was held by the Minister of Culture, Ghassan Salama, with the Director-General of UNESCO, Khaled Al-Anani, in Paris, to discuss the exposure of the archaeological sites in Tire and Beaufort Castle.
She indicated that the Director General of UNESCO will issue a statement denouncing what archaeological sites in Lebanon are being subjected to, and we distributed the Blue Shield badge to 80 sites, including Beaufort Castle.
The Minister of Culture confirmed that an investigation committee by UNESCO will head to Lebanon when circumstances permit.
