Member of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, Representative Ali Fayyad, believed that the “empty” results of the security track meetings at the Pentagon confirm the failure of betting on the option of direct negotiation with Israel to achieve any of the Lebanese demands. He said: “The option of concession and submission has failed, and the authority must change its strategy in another direction, which is based on uniting the Lebanese around a comprehensive national option in the face of Israeli brutality, which no longer threatens southern geography and Shiite demographics only, but also the entire Lebanese entity.”
