The municipality of Kayfun issued a statement in which it revealed that a call had been received to one of the houses, the home of Mr. Shihab Awada, in the town of Kayfun, specifically in the Al-Harsh area, requesting that the building be evacuated in preparation for targeting it. The municipality said in the statement: “After verification and follow-up, it turned out that the number from which the contact was made belonged to the brutal enemy. Based on our responsibility and out of caution, the Kayfun Municipality requests the evacuation of the threatened house along with the adjacent and immediately surrounding houses, for a period of 24 hours as a precautionary measure to preserve public safety.” She stressed that "this measure comes as a matter of prevention and concern for the safety of all of you."
