Prime Minister Nawaf Salam strongly condemned the attacks that targeted the sisterly State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain, which represent a serious violation of the sovereignty and security of states, and a direct threat to the stability of the region. He said in a statement: “This unacceptable Iranian behavior contradicts the rules of international law and the principles of good neighborliness, and exposes the security of the entire region to further tension and escalation.” I affirm Lebanon’s full solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain, and its support for their right to preserve their security and sovereignty and maintain their stability.”
