The head of the Free Patriotic Movement, MP Gebran Bassil, wrote on his account on the “X” platform the following: “When the army is targeted, the targeting affects all of Lebanon. The martyrdom of officers and a number of soldiers in an Israeli raid is a direct aggression against the state, its institutions, its people, and its army... The international community must stop being content with condemning while Israel continues to violate all conventions and resolutions.”
