During raid operations, the Regie seized smuggled and counterfeit cigarettes and liquor

The Lebanese Tobacco and Tobacco Control Administration (Regie) announced in a statement that “its anti-smuggling agency seized quantities of smuggled electronic cigarettes, smuggled and counterfeit tobacco, smuggled cigarettes, and smuggled Persian tobacco, as a result of raids carried out on Hamra and Mazraa Streets in Beirut, as part of its continuing efforts to combat smuggled and counterfeit tobacco products.”
She pointed out that “reports of arrests of violators have been recorded and are being considered by the competent judiciary.”
