An Israeli army spokesman announced that the IDF attacked gas stations that finance Hezbollah with millions of dollars. During the past 24 hours, the IDF attacked gas stations belonging to the Al-Amana company in southern Lebanon, which is under the control of Hezbollah throughout Lebanon and is considered an important economic structure for its benefit.
He continued: The gas stations that were targeted generate millions of dollars in profits for Hezbollah, as Hezbollah uses the stations’ accounts in the Al-Qard Al-Hassan Association to finance its terrorist activities.
He pointed out that these activities constitute an additional example of the cynical exploitation carried out by Hezbollah on the population of Lebanon with the aim of implementing plans against the IDF forces and the citizens of the State of Israel.
Targeting gas stations deals a major blow to Hezbollah's military structures in Lebanon and to the capabilities of its members to plan terrorist plans. The raids also come as part of efforts aimed at striking Hezbollah's economic position in the heart of the civilian population.
The IDF will continue to act forcefully against Hezbollah, which has decided to join the battle and work under the patronage of the Iranian regime, and will not allow the citizens of the State of Israel to be harmed.
