His Excellency Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nabih Berri, praised the memorandum of understanding that was announced between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, noting the efforts and endeavors made by the Republic of Pakistan, the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Arab Republic of Egypt to reach this understanding, which, with its provisions, establishes the foundations of security and stability in the region, including Lebanon. President Nabih Berri thanked and appreciated the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America and their leadership for their adherence and insistence on including in the memorandum that was agreed upon a basic and binding clause to stop the Israeli aggression against Lebanon, all of Lebanon in a way that preserves its sovereignty over its entire territory and in a way that does not contradict the independence and freedom of its decision.
