French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Thursday that the signing of a memorandum of understanding by the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran to end the war will soon contribute to reducing energy prices.
He wrote on his X account: “Tonight in Versailles, President Trump signed the agreement between Iran and the United States.”
Macron pointed out that this agreement paves the way for lasting peace and allows the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
Macron concluded by saying: "It is an important step in the right direction, and will soon contribute to reducing energy prices."
