Representative Ali Fayyad confirmed that the results of the Swiss meetings, and before that the Iranian-American memorandum of understanding, showed that our choices and bets were correct. He pointed out that the Iranian weight alongside Lebanon helps Lebanon achieve its goals of ceasefire, preventing the enemy from freedom of movement and leading to imposing Israeli withdrawal. Representative Fayyad called on the Lebanese state not to worry about the Iranian role, and to stop the policy of questioning this role, pointing out that Iran is a friendly country and has no intention of interfering in Lebanese internal affairs, and what matters to it is Lebanon’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.
