Faltering in negotiations... and Israel clinging to assassinations
Fady Mahouly
US Ambassador Michel Issa announced, “There was a stumble that occurred yesterday between the Lebanese and Israeli delegations, but we hope it will be resolved today.”
Military sources reported to Al-Jadeed that the Lebanese-Israeli negotiations are facing difficulty in their military aspect, against the backdrop of the dispute over the mechanism for establishing the ceasefire.
The sources indicated that the Israeli side adheres to the principle of targeting what it considers a security threat, including carrying out assassinations under the pretext of "removing threats."
