The “Electricité du Liban” Corporation reported, in addition to its statement on 06/23/2026, that due to the repeated Israeli attacks, the main 220 kV substation in Tyre was out of service on 06/19/2026 as a result of the breakdown of the main 220 kV Zahrani-Tyre transmission line. In the Tabna area, the Corporation reports that, as a result of the continuous efforts and maintenance work carried out by the Corporation’s maintenance teams since this morning, it was able to restore the electrical supply around six o’clock yesterday afternoon - Thursday.”
It stressed that it is doing “everything necessary to complete the remaining repairs on all high-, medium- and low-voltage networks in the South and Nabatieh governorates and the West Bekaa district, within the available capabilities,” and will inform the people of any new information in this regard as soon as new data is available.
