US President Donald Trump announced that Iran had launched at least four attack drones towards ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz, noting that one of the drones directly hit the deck of a large cargo ship, causing damage to it. Trump added that American forces shot down three of these drones, considering that the attack represents a flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement.
