You will not be able to implement it... Fadlallah: The agreement will not pass
Fady Mahouly
Representative Hassan Fadlallah called on the authority to retreat from the course of direct negotiations and from all the decisions it committed and took against its people.
He stressed that what was fabricated and circulated that Lebanon's position was formulated in meetings between Representative Fadlallah, Major General Hassan Choucair, and Brigadier General Andre Rahal is untrue.
In an interview with Al-Mayadeen, Fadlallah told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to rush to bring good news to his community.
He pointed out that Netanyahu was negotiating with himself, as this authority lacks constitutional and charter legitimacy and does not have the tools to impose dictates.
Fadlallah stressed that this authority will not be able to impose the implementation of the agreement signed in Washington unless it leads to a civil war, with American support.
He considered that what happened in Washington was an attempt to disrupt Islamabad's path, and without resistance, nothing would pass.
He added: "We will not allow this authority to destroy Lebanon, and we will not hand over our fate and our country to it."
