The head of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Muhammad Raad, said in a statement about the “tripartite framework” that the text issued in Washington adopted, as he put it, “falsifying facts and concepts” regarding the resistance and its role, and accused him of inverting the facts and adopting what he described as “taboo.” Raad said that what was reported reflects the Lebanese authority’s submission to American guardianship and its complicity with Israel, considering that this constitutes a neglect of Lebanon’s sovereignty and the rights of the Lebanese. He added that the essence of the agreement is to cover the continuation of the Israeli occupation and try to link the withdrawal to conditions related to the disarmament of the resistance, instead of complete withdrawal. He concluded by describing the statement as "ill-fated and unacceptable," calling for adherence to national sovereignty, stressing that the responsibility lies with those he described as "honorable and free."
