The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces announced that one of the contracting companies will begin the work of planting reflective nails on the international highway between Halat and Nahr Ibrahim, which requires taking traffic measures during the night hours. She explained that the works will be carried out in two phases, the first starting at 10:00 pm on Monday, June 29, 2026, until 5:00 am on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, on the western highway extending from Halat towards Nahr Ibrahim. As for the second phase, it will start at 22:00 in the evening on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 and will continue until 5:00 in the morning on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, on the eastern highway extending from Nahr Ibrahim towards Halat. The Internal Security Forces called on citizens to adhere to the directives and instructions of its members, and to adhere to the directional traffic signs placed at the site of the works, in a way that contributes to facilitating traffic, reducing congestion, and ensuring public safety. These works are part of regular maintenance programs aimed at enhancing traffic safety on main roads, as reflective spikes are used to improve night vision and clearly define traffic routes, especially in areas that witness heavy traffic or where visibility is reduced due to weather conditions. The competent authorities carry out such works during the night hours with the aim of reducing their impact on traffic during the day, while taking field measures to regulate traffic and ensure the safety of road users and workers in the workshop.
