Representative in the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, Nawaf Al-Moussawi, said that the President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, asked the army commander to submit his resignation, adding: “If they arrest me, it will turn out to be a statement that is not true.” In his speech, via Al-Manar, Al-Moussawi considered that “the framework agreement does not advance or delay,” using a colloquial expression by saying: “The funeral is hot and the dead person is a dog.” He stressed that talk about pushing Lebanon towards a civil war is unacceptable, adding: “I would like to reassure our people... a civil war should not be put on the neck of anyone who is thinking of taking matters into its own hands.”
