The head of the Syndicate of Gas Station Owners, Dr. George Al-Barakas, indicated that “the Council of Ministers froze the work of Decree 3214 related to increasing customs duties on a number of goods.” Al-Barakas said in a post on “X”, “We congratulate the Lebanese citizen for removing this burden from his purchasing power. We give him good news that fuel prices will return to a decline in the coming weeks, if the Ministry of Energy removes this fee from the price schedule.”
