This afternoon, a Lebanese army force, supported by members of the Islamic Health Authority, found the citizen (M.H.) from the southern town of Aitaroun, seriously injured in the Wadi Saluki area, after contact with him was lost since the beginning of the recent ceasefire. The bodies of 3 martyrs were also found in the same area, along with two charred motorcycles, while verification of the victims’ identities is still ongoing. According to information, the citizen (M.H.) took refuge in a small room in Wadi Saluki after he was targeted by a raid from a march, and he was accompanied by the citizen (A.Q.), but it was not confirmed at the time of preparing this news whether the latter was among the bodies that were found. This information remains preliminary pending DNA tests and the issuance of an official statement from the competent authorities clarifying the details of the incident and confirming the identities of the victims.
