In the wake of the incident, the municipality of Bezbina issued a statement denouncing the crime that occurred within the scope of the town, expressing its deep regret, and offering its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of the victim, asking God to cover her with His vast mercy. The municipality also clarified that “the suspect is not a resident of the town of Bezbina, but rather one of its residents, and he is from the city of Tripoli - Al-Qubba Registry 1016.”
