The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi confirmed, while receiving a delegation from Hezbollah that offered condolences to the Iranian leader, that Tehran is seriously pursuing the issue of ending the war and occupation in Lebanon. The ministry added, in a statement, that Araqchi stressed continued support for the resistance approach, praising what he described as Hezbollah's "steadfastness and resistance" in confronting Israel.
