Zamir from Beaufort Castle: The Lebanese army must cleanse the area... and we are ready to respond
Fady Mahouly
Israeli Army Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said during his inspection of Beaufort Castle that the Lebanese army must “purge the area of Hezbollah elements,” according to what he described as the “historic” agreement signed between the two sides.
He added that the Israeli army will continue to work “firmly” to eliminate any threats emanating from Lebanese territory.
He stressed that the Israeli forces are in a state of high readiness, ready to respond with a rapid attack in the event of any violation of the ceasefire.
