Syrian Presidency: Macron visits Damascus to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation

The Presidency of the Syrian Republic announced that French President Emmanuel Macron will make an upcoming visit to Syria, with the aim of discussing ways to strengthen bilateral relations and develop cooperation between the two countries on a number of common files, according to what was reported by SANA.
The presidency explained that Macron will be accompanied by a delegation that includes investors and representatives of French companies, indicating a trend towards expanding economic cooperation in addition to political dialogue.
The statement added that Presidents Ahmed Al-Sharaa and Emmanuel Macron are scheduled to hold an expanded discussion session in the presence of the two delegations, to discuss developments in the regional and international situation, and to discuss the prospects for bilateral cooperation in various fields, in a way that enhances the continuation of dialogue between the two sides.
