You bear responsibility... An Israeli message to these people
Fady Mahouly
The Israeli army sent a warning message to a number of towns in the Marjayoun district in southern Lebanon, including Abel al-Saqi, Qalaia, Burj al-Muluk, and Deir Mimas, in which it called on residents to prevent the return of “strangers” to their villages, in reference to members of Hezbollah, as he put it.
The letter, which was described as "official", threatened not to guarantee the safety of the population if these warnings were not heeded, while claiming the continuation of Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon.
It also stressed holding the people responsible for what is happening inside their towns, warning of “infiltration by Hezbollah elements” into the aforementioned areas, and stressing that the Israeli army will continue its operations in the south.
