Al-Sada explains the reasons for the rise in fuel prices

The Minister of Energy and Water, Joe Al-Saddi, held a press conference in the ministry in which he discussed how to determine the fuel price schedule and import oil from Iraq and electricity from Syria.
He explained that "the increase in fuel prices in Lebanon is less than their increase in the world, by a difference of 24 percent in diesel, and because of the cost of the war, the cost of shipping has increased," and he pointed out that "the increase on gasoline cans was less than the global increase, and during the war period we were able to succeed in preventing the recurrence of scenes of queues and the black market."
He pointed out that "fuel prices are set according to customs duty standards and the average prices of gasoline and diesel, not crude oil."
