The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced, at dawn on Thursday, that air defense systems were responding to missile attacks and enemy drones.
The Chief of Staff said, in a statement, that the sounds of explosions that may be heard in a number of areas are due to interception operations carried out by air defense systems to deal with the attacks.
The authorities called on citizens and residents to adhere to security and safety instructions issued by the competent authorities, without providing further details about the source of the attacks or their size.
