In a statement, Al-Mansouri Municipality denied the news circulated on some social media sites regarding the house that was targeted in the town of Al-Mansouri, stressing that “the information and publications circulating in this regard are baseless and have no connection to reality, and that the owner of the house has no knowledge of what was published or attributed to him.” It considered that "the circulation of inaccurate news and the dissemination of undocumented information would offend people and families, create confusion among citizens, and harm civil peace." The municipality called on all media outlets, social media pages, and their patrons to “ensure accuracy and verify the authenticity of information from their official sources before publishing or circulating it, out of respect for people’s dignity and to preserve their reputation, and to avoid contributing to the spread of rumors and misleading news.”
