Today, Wednesday, the US Central Command (Centcom) announced the end of the latest round of strikes targeting Iran. Centcom said in a statement on X: “An additional round of strikes was carried out against Iran on July 14.” The statement added: "We struck dozens of military targets near the Strait of Hormuz and Iranian coastal areas." The statement indicated that "fighters, drones, and warships fired precision-guided munitions at Iranian missile and drone sites." US President Donald Trump told Fox News on Tuesday that he would expand the scope of US strikes on Iran next week to include power plants and bridges if Tehran does not conclude an agreement. Trump stated in an interview with Fox News that: “Next week will be very bad for them because next week power plants will be targeted. Next week bridges will be targeted,” according to Agence France-Presse. He stressed that "all their power stations will be destroyed. We will destroy all their bridges unless they return to the negotiating table."
