Starting Saturday... new cruises between Beirut and Batroun
Fady Mahouly
Cedar Waves, which launched international cruises earlier this year, announced the operation of a new sea line linking Zaituna Bay in Beirut to Batroun Port, with trips operating every Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer season.
The ferry departs from Beirut at 10:00 am and arrives in Batroun at 11:00 am, while the return trip departs from Batroun at 6:00 pm and arrives in Beirut at 7:00 pm, giving visitors a full day to enjoy the city’s beaches, restaurants, old markets and summer atmosphere.
Prices are $20 per trip and $40 for a round trip, making the cruise itself part of the experience, with panoramic views of the Lebanese coast away from crowded roads.
Those wishing to book tickets can book tickets in advance through the Cedar Waves website or by communicating directly with the company.
This service is expected to attract large numbers of Lebanese and tourists during the weekends, especially with the increasing popularity enjoyed by the city of Batroun as one of the most prominent summer destinations in Lebanon.
