Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee announced that the army eliminated the commander of the special forces in the Radwan Force unit and additional members of Hezbollah. Adraei said via “X”: “The Air Force attacked yesterday (Saturday) in the Majdal Salam area in southern Lebanon and eliminated Abu Khalil Burji, the commander of the special forces in the Radwan Force unit affiliated with Hezbollah, and two additional members.” He added: "Burji was part of the Radwan Force unit during recent years, and during his elimination, he was leading the special forces in the unit that planned and took responsibility for implementing plans to target the Israeli army." He continued: "Yesterday evening, the army also attacked Hezbollah infrastructure in various areas of southern Lebanon."
