Warning from the economy: No monopoly and no smuggling of fuel
Fady Mahouly
The Ministry of Economy warned against exploiting the repercussions of recent regional developments through price manipulation, monopoly, or fuel smuggling, stressing that it has intensified its oversight during this stage, as it did previously during the war period, when it succeeded in preventing the interruption of fuel and basic commodities and ensuring their continued availability.
The Ministry stressed that withholding stock from citizens is unacceptable, stressing that it will not tolerate any monopoly or smuggling operations.
It indicated that it is coordinating with the relevant security services, and will take the necessary legal measures against anyone proven involved, in order to preserve the rights of citizens and market stability.
