The US Embassy in Beirut announced the conclusion of the round of talks, after two days of discussions that it described as “fruitful and positive,” noting that the structure and work guidelines for the experimental areas had been agreed upon, with the final procedures to be completed and implementation to begin in the coming days. The embassy added, in a statement, that it will move to expanded technical talks, which will focus on implementing all provisions of the tripartite framework, in preparation for reaching a comprehensive agreement between Lebanon and Israel.
