The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: Army units implemented security measures in the northern region, including raids, mechanized patrols, and the establishment of circumstantial checkpoints, as a result of which 5 citizens and 28 Syrians were arrested according to the following: • The two citizens (M.G.) and (A.M.) were arrested in the Abu Samra area - Tripoli for shooting. • The citizen (M.R.) was arrested at the Badriya checkpoint - Tripoli for shooting. • The citizen (M.S.) was arrested in the exhibition area - Tripoli for possessing a pistol and military ammunition. • Citizen (B.M.) was arrested at the Madfoun checkpoint - Batroun for possessing a military pistol. • 28 Syrians were arrested at the Al-Madfoun checkpoint - Batroun for wandering inside Lebanese territory without legal papers. The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities, and investigations were launched into the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
