The US State Department announced the start of implementation of the first phase of the “experimental areas” in Faron, Srifa, and Zawtar al-Gharbiya, in accordance with the framework of the tripartite agreement and under the auspices of the Military Coordination Group for Lebanon. The Ministry explained that this step is an important step, and came as a result of the discussions held last week in Rome between Lebanon and Israel. She stressed that she will continue to work closely with the two sides, to ensure the full and successful implementation of the agreement.
