The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following statement: “On 07-13-2026, a person called (M.G., born in 1996, Lebanese) was brought to a hospital in the Minya locality, suffering from two gunshot wounds from a military pistol in the chest and foot, and he soon died from his wounds. Immediately, the competent units in the Information Division began their field and information procedures to uncover the circumstances of the crime, the identity of the killer, and his arrest. As a result of extensive surveys and investigations, the Division was able to identify him as: Kh. Kh. (Born in 2006, Lebanese). On 07-14-2026, after careful monitoring and control, and in less than 24 hours, one of the Information Division patrols was able to arrest him in the locality of Minya. During his interrogation, he confessed to what was attributed to him, that while he was in the Al-Minya locality in his white Toyota Tacoma car with no license plates, a dispute arose between him and the victim, and the dispute developed between them, so he fired two bullets from a military pistol at the victim, after the latter pulled a knife on him. The aforementioned car and the pistol used in the murder were seized, and legal action was carried out against him, and the relevant reference was deposited with the seized items based on the reference of the competent judiciary.
