Abu Chakra denies: The news circulating is incorrect

The representative of fuel distributors, Fadi Abu Chakra, in a call with the National News Agency, denied the news circulating about imposing a tax on gasoline, and said: “This news is baseless, and the Minister of Finance, Yassin Jaber, in a call I had with him, denied the rumors reported by some media outlets and social media sites regarding imposing a tax on gasoline, stressing that the government has no intention of imposing taxes or fees on fuel.”
