Prime Minister Nawaf Salam revealed that his account on the “X” platform had been hacked and one of his posts had been deleted, prompting him to republish it again. Salam stressed in the re-published blog post that what Israel is carrying out in Mansouri, Zawtar al-Sharqiya, Kafr Benit, and other southern villages and towns, in terms of attacks, incursions, and systematic destruction of homes, infrastructure, government headquarters, and places of worship, constitute a serious violation of the principles and rules of international and humanitarian law. The Prime Minister added that justifying the bulldozing and destruction operations under the pretext of the presence of “military facilities” is a false claim refuted by the nature of the comprehensive targeting of neighborhoods and public facilities, and cannot constitute a cover for the destruction of villages, the displacement of their people, and the prevention of them from returning. Salam stressed that Lebanon's sovereignty, the security of its people, and the right of southerners to return to their land and rebuild their villages are not negotiable issues.
