The Cassation Prosecutor, Judge Ahmed Rami Al-Hajj, responded to a report broadcast by Al-Jadeed TV, which stated that he requested the transfer of the former Governor of the Bank of Lebanon, Riad Salama, to Roumieh Prison despite his poor health condition. Al-Hajj explained that Salama’s transfer to Roumieh Prison came after verifying the medical reports received by the Public Prosecution from the Internal Security Forces doctor, which confirmed that his health condition is good and does not require him to remain in the hospital.
