In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned in “the strongest terms the Israeli air strikes that targeted the Abu Al-Duhur military airport in Idlib Governorate at dawn yesterday, Tuesday,” considering them “a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic and the unity and integrity of its lands, and a clear violation of the provisions of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.”
The Ministry affirmed "Lebanon's firm position in supporting Syria's sovereignty, security and stability," stressing "Lebanon's rejection of any attack on its territory, and the need to stop these violations and refrain from any steps that would increase tension and threaten regional stability."
