The Lebanese Pharmacists Syndicate clarified that what was stated in the article published today on the Pen Media website, which included information attributed to “sources in the Pharmacists Syndicate” about the file of cancer medicines, tenders, and medicines imported from India and elsewhere, does not express the Syndicate’s position and it has no knowledge of the information contained in it. The Syndicate confirmed that any position, information or data issued in its name, especially in sensitive pharmaceutical and health files, will be exclusively through the head of the Lebanese Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. Abdel Rahman Markbawi, through his media statements or official statements issued by the Syndicate. Accordingly, the union stresses the need to be precise in conveying any information or positions and attributing them to it, and not to use the name of the union or sources from within it to present positions or information that were not issued officially by it.”
