The municipality of Dibal clarified in a statement what was being circulated through the media, stressing that “the Israeli army did not enter the town, but is only present at its outskirts, while the Lebanese security forces are deployed inside it and are carrying out their full duty to maintain security and stability.” The municipality reported that "about 1,770 residents of the town are still steadfast in their homes, and their conditions are being monitored and coordinated on a permanent basis with the competent authorities."
