The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced “an agreement with Oman to share the waters of the Strait of Hormuz,” noting that “an agreement was reached with Oman on both parties’ shares of the revenues from the Strait.” The Revolutionary Guard confirmed that “the Strait of Hormuz is under our control and there are no enemy military ships inside the waters of the Gulf,” stressing that “the sea lane located near the Sultanate of Oman is under our complete control.”
